About Dr. Wolterman
Dr. Wolterman earned his dental degree from the University of Louisville, where he was president of the Beta Delta Fraternity. He spent 2 years in the United States Navy mastering his dental skills. He earned his advanced certificate in Orthodontics degree from Boston University.
He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Eastside Dental Study Club (past president), the Great Lakes Orthodontic Society and the Cincinnati Dental Society.
Dr. Wolterman and his family are active in community affairs. He founded the Richard J. Wolterman Scholarship Fund, which has given many deserving high school students aid for their college tuition if pursuing a degree in health sciences. He has practiced orthodontics since 1974.
He also enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, physical fitness and has coached local youth football, basketball and baseball.
Dr. Wolterman actively lectures to the local dental community on leading edge clinical orthodontic topics, keeping his referral sources well informed.
